Dr Stina Wangqvist (B.Clin.Sc, M.Ost.Med) aims to deliver individual quality treatments and rehabilitation programs to help you manage pain and restore function.
Working with an evidence-based and patient-centred approach, providing osteopathic hands-on manual therapy including joint manipulations and mobilisations, soft tissue techniques, muscle energy techniques, cupping and dry-needling.
Stina completed her Bachelor of Clinical Science and Masters of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University. She has worked within multiple clinics and facilities around the Northern Rivers over the years, and is now running her homebased clinic in Lennox Head. Stina is passionate about inspiring people to lead a healthier life, and has also been working as a yoga teacher trainer for over two decades. Stina believes that the aim of osteopathic treatment is to support the bodies self-regulatory and self-healing mechanisms. She has a particular interest in breath work, movement, sports related pain and chronic conditions. Stina is a mother of two. She can relate to the challenges that come with with family life. When Stina is not working, she loves to be out in nature, do art and yoga, go to the gym, and to spend time with her near ones. |
